Fietsavontuur knows that an experienced and cycle-minded tour leader can upgrade your trip. That's why we work with a selected number of tour leaders who all have shown their talent for service and their enthusiasm for cycling. Fietsavontuur: travelling with experienced cyclists!
Francien van der Lee
Started her own business in 2005, after working more then 10 years for other touroperators specialized in cycling holidays. She loves to organize trips and taking care of the details - accommodation, routes, luggage transport and so on - so you can fully enjoy your bike holiday. Likes to ride her bike (off road) in foreign countries but also enjoys the guiding for bike and barge trips in the Netherlands and Belgium.Michiel van Lonkhuyzen
You can find the many cols he climbed on his website CyclingCols: an outstanding database for many cyclists in Europe and beyond. For fietsavontuur Michiel designed, amongst others, the trip to Austria. In july 2011 Fietsavontuur celebrated the 10 year anniversary of CyclingCols with a trip in Norway.
Ilse Janneman
Loves being outdoors and doing sports. Has a lot of experience guiding trips all over the world, e.g. hiking, biking, cross country skiing. Loves mountainbiking and likes to see you on a trip in the Belgium Ardennes. For women she developed a mtb clinic near the city of Leuven / Belgium.
Maarten Mulder
Maarten loves challenging bike rides. That's why he spend his holidays on his bike in the mountains in Europe and overseas. Besides cycling he likes to design bicycle routes and that's why he started organizing bike trips. His company is called Cycling Spirit. Since 2011 Fietsavontuur and Cycling Spirit sometimes work together. This resulted in the new training week to Gran Canaria.
